Ruigoord
Ruigoord is the Netherlands' oldest cultural free haven: a village on the edge of Amsterdam's harbour that artists squatted in 1973 and never left. Its deconsecrated church has been home to festivals, poetry and music ever since, and its grounds host the ICPR 2026 afterparty.
