About Damiaan
Damiaan Denys is a philosopher, psychiatrist and psychotherapist who works at the Amsterdam UMC and the Dutch Psychoanalytic Institute (NPI). He is professor at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) since 2007. He founded Lemon Tree, an independent, interdisciplinary centre conducting research at the intersection of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and philosophy, which is part of the University of Amsterdam's Institute for Advanced Study (IAS).
