Workshop description

Workshop description

This full-day experiential workshop introduces participants to the theory and practice of MDMA-assisted therapy for couples, with a focus on relational healing, trauma integration, and therapeutic connection. Drawing on clinical trial experience and real-world applications, facilitator Dr. Anne Wagner will guide participants through the principles of delivering MDMA-assisted sessions in a couples therapy context.

The workshop will explore the use of MDMA as a tool to enhance safety, emotional openness, and trust between partners - especially in cases where trauma has impacted relational dynamics. Through clinical examples, experiential exercises, case-based discussion, and role play, attendees will gain practical tools for supporting couples in both psychedelic and non-psychedelic therapeutic contexts.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the field’s foremost researchers and clinicians in MDMA-assisted therapy for relational work.

Why attend?

This workshop offers a rare opportunity to explore the emerging frontier of MDMA-assisted therapy for couples, led by one of the field’s pioneers. Attendees will gain insight into the unique therapeutic dynamics MDMA can facilitate within a couple, how trauma manifests in relational systems, and how to safely and ethically support healing in a dyadic context.

Whether you work with couples in conventional therapy or are exploring psychedelic-assisted approaches, this training will deepen your understanding of relational healing, shared trauma processing, and the evolving clinical landscape of MDMA use in therapy.
